"It is the mission of Harwood Union High School to provide an educational and creative environment in which every person is valued as an individual, challenged as a learner and inspired to contribute to a democratic society. As a professional learning organization of all academic departments, we are prepared to work together in order to provide a unique and personalized learning experience for all students."

I work with students in the Learning Resource Center and I also co-teach in Three Democracies and in Integrated Math.

I am originally from Watertown, CT and have been living in Vermont for 16 years.  I attended Southern Connecticut State University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education.  I received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.

I became a teacher because I really love working with students in finding their true potential.  I believe that anyone can do anything they set their mind to no matter what their ability.

Outside of school I love to run and be outside with my husband and my two children (along with my 3 dogs).  I have completed four half marathons and many other 5ks and 10ks; my goal eventually is to run a full marathon.
