Harwood First Annual Community Pathways Showcase and Celebration

Tuesday, June 5th from 5:00 - 6:45 pm The Harwood Union Library

Have you been hearing about “Flexible Pathways”, “Work Based Learning” or Community Pathways? Do you wonder what this is? If you would like to learn more; come join us for a Community Pathways Showcase and Celebration.

Who should attend?

  • Middle and high school students and parents who are curious about how internships, independent studies and employment can fit into their high school plan

  • Business and community representatives who want to learn more about partnering with students

  • Educators and policymakers interested in exploring models of Flexible Pathway partnerships

What?

  • Hear about the experiences Harwood Students and their community partners. You will learn about internships, independent studies and employment. We will explore the connection students are making with the Harwood Graduate Expectations; connecting “real world” learning with content proficiencies.

  • Have an opportunity to speak with our presenters to learn more about their experiences as well as to connect with Harwood educators who are here to support these opportunities.

Refreshments will be provided

RSVP not required but is helpful for planning. Please contact Ellen Berrings, [email protected]
