Mission

"It is the mission of Harwood Union High School to provide an educational and creative environment in which every person is valued as an individual, challenged as a learner and inspired to contribute to a democratic society. As a professional learning organization of all academic departments, we are prepared to work together in order to provide a unique and personalized learning experience for all students."

Class of 2018 - Gazebo Fundraiser - UPDATE

Please help the HUHS Class of 2018 raise money for their Senior Class Project: a beautiful gazebo to honor the memory of our classmates, Eli Brookens, Liam Hale, Mary Harris and Cyrus Zschau and our friend Janie Chase Cozzi. The gazebo will be delivered in early October, and will be dedicated at an all school gathering.

9/19/17 UPDATE: We have raised over $11,000 to purchase a gazebo -- THANK YOU! We have a new goal to raise another $9,000 by October 1!  This will enable us to electrify the gazebo, install efficient light fixtures, purchase plants and landscaping, add a sign and plaque, and establish a gazebo maintenance fund. Any additional funds will be used to provide counseling services for students.

Please help us reach our goal. You may donate online here, or write a check (write "gazebo" in the memo line) made out to Harwood Union High School and mail to: HUUSD, Attn.: Michelle Baker, 340 Mad River Park, #7, Waitsfield, VT 05673.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING US HONOR OUR FRIENDS AND MAKE OUR SCHOOL HARWOOD STRONG.
