Registration is now open for students interested in a brief intensive to
prepare them for SAT math sections this Spring. The course gives an
overview of all types of math you will encounter in the SAT, plus test
taking strategies. Students will gain practice for both the calculator
and no-calculator portions of the test, as well as both the multiple
choice and student-response gridded sections. The course meets four
Mondays, after school. Taught by two teachers to allow flexibility in
class to meet the needs of all students.
$140.00. Scholarships available.
Registration forms are available in the School Counseling Office. Slots
are limited.

Champlain College Young Writers' Conference . May 24-26, 2019
YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED to attend a residential weekend of writing workshops, craft sessions, and open mic at the Champlain College Young Writers' Conference. Now in our nineteenth year, our doors are open to high school students who wish to share their passion for story, drama, and song with their writerly brothers and sisters—and with celebrated New England authors. We offer three days of readings, improv theatre, Moth storytelling, poetry slams, literary jazz/blues fusion, and extended friendship on the hillside campus of Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.  Application deadline is March 8th .  For more information click here.

VSAC invites you to join us at our 2019 College & Career Pathways events for students, parents, and adults who are curious about pursuing further education or training. The 2019 events will be held on 4 weekdays at locations around the state and will include a daytime component for high school 10th and 11th graders, and an evening component for high school students, parents, and community members.  Harwood will be providing a bus to and from St. Mike’s for the Thursday March 21st event.  For more information click here.

Winter Weekends are two-day intensive learning experiences for Vermont 9th-12th graders. You’ll live on a college campus all weekend and explore a topic you’re interested in in-depth with professional mentors and new friends who love the same things you do.
