Sustainability Club meets on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 in the Lecture Hall. It is a club dedicated to making Harwood and the greater community more sustainable. An ongoing project includes a “ban the bottle” campaign at Harwood to eliminate single serve plastic water bottles. Other club projects involve community outreach about paper usage, investigation of rain gardens at Harwood, and fundraising for reusable water bottles to be sold at Harwood. The Club won an award at the LEAP energy fair in the spring of 2016 and received recognition from Bernie Sanders. Sustainability Club is always looking for new members with ideas about how to make Harwood and the greater community a greener, more sustainable environment! If you are interested or have any questions, please email Anneka Williams (email@example.com) or Colin Fennelly (firstname.lastname@example.org).
